AD was a short-lived band which played a handful of gigs during early 1984, growing out of the ashes of Thruaglas Darkly. After A. D. Martin Walker and Michael Alan Taylor went on to play and record with Nth Ascension and Robert Stirzaker formed Counterparts. Andrew Keeling turned to classical composition, arranging and working with such musicians as Robert Fripp and David Cross from King Crimson.
